ABOUT RISING TALENTS
Barbara Kier
Founder of Rising Talents
Barbara Kier has been at home in the world of theatre since childhood. She first appeared on stage in a professional production at the age of seven, thus gaining experience as a child actress.
Her studies in educational science and musical theatre combine pedagogical expertise with sound artistic competence – a combination that continues to shape her work with children and young people.
Today she works as a singer and voice-over artist, among other things. For many years she has also accompanied children and young people in theatre, film productions, workshops and choir work.
From her own experience, she knows how exciting, but also challenging, working in a professional production can be for young actors.
In 2017 she founded Rising Talents and has since combined her industry experience with the professional placement and support of young performers.
Working with children and young people is particularly close to my heart. I want to give them the opportunity to enjoy the same meaningful and unforgettable artistic experiences that I was fortunate enough to have during my own childhood and teenage years. And perhaps, along the way, I can play a small part in shaping their artistic journeys.
